Before You Host

To ensure a smooth and creative class experience, please complete these steps prior to our arrival.

Host Responsibilities:
 

  • Complete and sign the Host Waiver.
     

  • Book the class online for your Entire Party.
     

  • Pay the $100 travel fee at the time of booking.
     

  • Share the class details, important information, dress code, and safety requirements with all of your guests before the class. This helps everyone arrive prepared, dressed appropriately, and ready to safely enjoy their stained glass experience.
     

  • Ensure each guest completes and submits the Participant Waiver. Once the class is booked, the Participant Waiver will be sent to the host by email to distribute to all guests.

Space Requirements

Power & Lighting

We require three electrical outlets to power our soldering irons and grinders. Good overhead or natural lighting is essential for detailed glass work.

Workspace Requirements

A clean, flat, and spacious work area is required for each class. Approximately 12x12 workspace indoor or outdoor:
 

  • 5+ guests: We will provide three 6-foot tables—two for seating and one designated for glass grinding.

  • 4 guests: Two 6-foot tables will be sufficient—one for seating and one for glass grinding.
     

  • Outdoor classes: The host is responsible for providing adequate shade or a covered area for the seating tables. We will provide a pop-up canopy to cover the outdoor grinding table and equipment.
     

Please ensure the workspace is clear and ready before the class begins so we can safely set up and get started on time.

Parking & Access

Because we transport heavy equipment and supplies, we greatly appreciate having a parking space located as close to the entrance as possible, along with a clear, accessible path to the designated workspace. This helps us safely and efficiently unload, transport, and set up our equipment before the class.

Your safety is our priority. In every class, we employ professional fume filtration systems to ensure a clean breathing environment. We provide all necessary personal protective equipment. Our instructors strictly maintain lead safety protocols, ensuring that your creative journey is both beautiful and secure.
